Connecting
Synagogues
to Solutions

ShulBridge is a boutique synagogue consulting practice led by Jack Zinn. It was founded to bridge the gap between synagogue mission and modern operational needs. Jack offers hands-on, practical expertise to help congregations operate with clarity, efficiency, and sustainable growth. ShulBridge specializes in ShulCloud implementation, data cleanup, training, support, staff augmentation, automation, best-practices, and advisory services, combining technical mastery with nonprofit governance, operations, and fundraising best practices. ShulBridge partners with clergy, lay leaders, and staff to streamline operations, strengthen governance, optimize donor and membership systems, and build plans that make synagogues thrive.

About ShulBridge

You work with Jack, the founder of ShulBridge, as a partner, not a vendor. He is a part of your team. He created ShulBridge to providing tailored consulting services for synagogues, ensuring a seamless ShulCloud implementation and ongoing support. He is dedicated to sharing best practices and offering comprehensive training to empower you and your community. Beyond technology, he also provides governance and board advisory services, administration support, and strategic planning to help your synagogue thrive in today’s dynamic environment.

What I do: ShulBridge Services

  • ShulCloud Implementations: Full setup and configuration tailed to your congregation's membership, dues, and giving structures. Integrations and workflows to match your operations. Special projects, events, calendar management, billing, transactions, and reporting are all covered. If your needs are beyond what ShulCloud offers "out of the box," custom coding is available to do those little extras that make the congregant experience more seamless and ShulCloud more intuitive.

  • Data Cleanup and Augmentation: Audit, deduplicate, and standardize membership and donor records to ensure accurate reporting and reliable communication. Data Update campaigns are run to increase usage and increase the usefulness of the ShulCloud information.

  • Training and Documentation: Role-based training for clergy, administrators, and volunteers, with clear, step-by-step illustrated guides for ongoing reference.

  • Ongoing Support: Provide on-demand support for your changing needs, whether it's solving a ShulCloud puzzle, creating new forms or events, providing invoices or receipts to donors, or working with your fundraising team or your Board.

  • Staff Augmentation: Provide weekly or monthly tasks, such as reporting, yahrzeit and other lifecycle announcements, acknowledging donation dedications, and much more, you can have a flexible, part-time staff person who already knows synagogue office operations, finance, ShulCloud, and how to work directly with congregants.

  • Advisory Services: Governance reviews, fundraising strategies, annual planning, and board coaching to align operations with long-term goals.

About ShulBridge Founder:
Jack Zinn

Hi! I'm Jack! I started ShulBridge to help synagogues perform better and focus on building relationships and community. As a former President of a synagogue, I know how to see above the details and help with mission, governance, fundraising, contracts, and organization. As a current Treasurer of my synagogue (as well as Treasurer/CFO of the Westchester Jewish Council), I know budgeting, finance, and the art of gentle conversations with congregants. As a technologist and a long-time administrator of ShulCloud, I am an expert in implementations, data cleaning, and best practices in ShulCloud, enabling you to use the information to better engage with and retain your congregants.

When you work with ShulBridge, you don't get a big consulting firm. You get me, Jack. I am present, invested, and focused on delivering results that matter, with practical solutions and clear communications.
